01. The Challenge

The customer was experiencing material buildup as material discharged from the re-crush belt into the hopper, which then entered the dry screen. Material packed in the hopper clogged the chute, requiring the operation to shut down production and manually remove the accumulated debris.

Buffalo recommended lining the hopper and chute with 12" × 12" UHMW-Lined Magnetic Panels. The durable magnetic liner system was designed to reduce material adhesion, improve material flow, and allow any remaining build-up to be removed quickly during maintenance.
