PFX™/L Hybrid Panels retained more flat and elongated material, kept the deck cleaner, and increased throughput.

An aggregate operation struggled with flat and elongated material in its processed stone, creating additional screening requirements before it could sell the product.
The existing slotted rubber panels let some undesirable material pass through, while switching to square openings created a different problem: blinding and reduced throughput. The operation needed a screening solution that could better control flat and elongated material without sacrificing production.

Buffalo recommended PFX™/L Hybrid Panels with stainless steel wire to help shorten the effective slotted openings while maintaining strong material flow across the deck.
The combination of stainless steel wire and PFX™Self-cleaning action was designed to reduce blinding while allowing the operation to process more material through the screen.
The new PFX™/L Hybrid Panels delivered a noticeable improvement in screening performance. The operation reported retaining more flat and elongated material, helping keep it from passing into the finished product.
The customer also observed less deck wear, a much cleaner deck, and a considerable increase in overall throughput. Based on the early results, the operation was very pleased with the recommendation.
