The customer operates ready-mix concrete plants where weigh hoppers are used to measure sand and aggregate before batching. The application required a liner system that could withstand abrasive wear while enabling faster, more efficient liner replacement during maintenance.
Buffalo recommended Magnetic Urethane Liners for the weigh hopper application because of their ease of replacement. To fit the hopper geometry, Buffalo designed a custom modular liner system with detailed installation drawings, allowing individual liner sections to be manufactured, installed, and replaced as needed without replacing the entire liner package.
