Eliminating Screen Supply Disruptions: How Site Documentation Improved Consistency and Reduced Downtime

01. The Challenge

An aggregate operation experienced inconsistent screen supply from its previous supplier, along with quality concerns that could have caused operational delays and downtime.

The customer needed a more dependable screening solution and a more efficient process for identifying equipment requirements, placing orders, and maintaining the correct on-site screen inventory.

02. The Solution

Buffalo began supplying PFX™ Screens and worked with the operation to establish the correct equipment information, screen dimensions, and application requirements.

A detailed site survey documented this information, creating a reliable reference for future orders and allowing the customer and Buffalo team to communicate requirements more efficiently. Regular site visits and open communication between the territory manager and plant team also helped streamline the reordering process.

03. The Result

With accurate site information documented and a consistent supply of PFX™ Screens established, the operation has eliminated downtime related to screen quality or delivery issues.

The customer now maintains a trusted stock of replacement screens and has a more streamlined reordering process. The partnership is continuing to develop through plans for a formal stocking program and opportunities to expand the product suite across the operation.
