01. The Challenge

The customer was using regular woven wire to produce 3/8-inch minus sand for an asphalt plant. The operation needed to increase production without sacrificing gradation or producing material outside of specification.

02. The Solution

After reviewing the application and asking the appropriate questions to understand the customer's production goals, Buffalo recommended 10 mm PFX™/CS screen media. The customer agreed to install the recommended screen media and conduct a trial to evaluate production rates and material gradation under normal operating conditions.
