The customer was using double wire self-cleaning screens that were not lasting long enough to sustain production demands, averaging only 1 to 1.5 months of wear life. With moderately abrasive material and a high production rate of approximately 200 tons per hour, maintaining uptime was critical. Frequent screen changeouts were increasing downtime and limiting overall efficiency across an operation producing over 1 million tons annually.
