Burns Named to Top Financial Post at Buffalo Wire Works

Buffalo, NY—Buffalo Wire Works Company, a world-class manufacturer of screening media, has named Michael J. Burns Chief Financial Officer. He will oversee all financial operations of Buffalo Wire Works, and will integrate his strong financial knowledge base, managerial style, and leadership skills into the day-to-day operations of the Company.

Mr. Burns comes to Buffalo Wire Works with eight years of global financial accounting and advisory experience, most recently as a manager at one of the “Big 5” firms, Ernst & Young, as well as BDO Seidman.

He earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in the Registered Accounting Program and a Master of Business Administration in 1994 from the University at Buffalo. Mr. Burns is a Certified Public Accountant. Mike resides with his wife, Mary, and daughter, Caitlyn in Hamburg, NY.
